When I first started using Vegas, I was surprised to discover that what I would call Mirror was actually buried in the pan/crop effect, and that mirror was something wild akin to kaleidoscope or a fun-house effect. if he can figure out how the darn thing works. This is a rather old post, so disgruntaledaswell has probably moved on as well, but Mirror might be able to produce the kaleidoscope effect he wanted. Since SMS /VegasPro software has the ability to use Presets - why not exploit them? It would save other users a lot of time if there was a "Preview" facility, so the most-suitable can be downloaded for use. I wonder that PIP might work and if the pics can be rotated, that would be a suitable effect - perhaps.Ĭurrently I use v10 and v12 and have been impressed with HitFilms' direct-offerings which appear to follow Vegas look-and-feel, so that makes a good start. V13 has a 3rd party item from HitFilm (DYOR) which should cover Particles( earlier solution suggested), - but I don't really understand how that solves Kaleidoscope. If users of SMS or Vegas Pro have developed a preset, why can't there be a place to post them? It would be nice to see others' efforts and by keeping them (here) the feedback would be invaluable - and help Sony sell more software. I wonder that Son圜reative is missing a trick with Presets.I discovered "Preset Manager" by a chance on YouTube (where else?), and managed to load that from this Website.
